What size events does J3 take on?

Both ends of the scale. We’ve produced a concert for more than 5,000 guests at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre and an intimate milestone birthday at Cliff Bell’s. If your event matters to you, it’s the right size for us.

Do I have to hire J3 for the entire event?

No. Many clients hire us for full-service planning and production, but we also take on specific pieces — entertainment booking, production management, or day-of coordination.

How far in advance should I reach out?

For private celebrations, three to six months gives the best choice of venues and talent. Larger productions and nationally known artists often need six to twelve months. If your date is sooner, ask anyway.

Can you book live entertainment for my event?

Yes — entertainment is where we started. We book bands, vocalists, DJs, comedians, hosts, and nationally known headliners, and we handle contracts, technical requirements, and hospitality.

Do you work outside Detroit?

Detroit is home, and most of our work is in Metro Detroit and across Michigan. We’ll travel for the right event.
